Term Time Activities

HIT runs seven groups during term time, based throughout South West Hertfordshire. Our groups range from infant school age through to adult.  Participants learn a mixture of skills and techniques in weekly sessions, sometimes working towards an end production.

We look at a variety of performance techniques and quite often perform in outdoor spaces and well as theatres, lots of the work is devised and created using the ideas and input from the participants. Previous years have included devising fairytales, mask work with full and half mask, outdoor dancing and music from around the world, variety shows, performances which include singing and dancing and creating films.

Productions have included:

Anansi (a Caribbean musical) - With Chicken Shed
